# ETL: FLOOR

> Round a numeric expression down to the nearest integer value. Use FLOOR for truncating decimal values in Integrate.io ETL pipeline expressions.

## Description

Rounds the expression down to the nearest integer.

## Syntax

`FLOOR(numeric_expression)`

## Examples

`FLOOR(1.3)` returns 1

`FLOOR(1.5)` returns 1

## Return value datatype

Double

## Impact of null value

If input is null, returns null.
