# ETL: LOG10

> Compute the base-10 logarithm of a numeric value in your ETL pipeline. Use LOG10 for order-of-magnitude and decibel calculations in data flows.

## Description

Returns the base 10 logarithm of a number.

## Syntax

`LOG10(numeric_expression)`

## Examples

`LOG10(100)` returns 2.

Double

## Impact of null value

If input is null, returns null.
