# ETL: Connect MCP Inspector to MCP

> Use the MCP Inspector to test the Integrate.io ETL MCP endpoint over Streamable HTTP with a bearer token.

The MCP Inspector is a debugging tool from the MCP project team, not an AI agent. It opens a local UI for listing and calling tools directly, which makes it the fastest way to confirm the endpoint works before wiring up a real client. For token detail, see [Authentication](https://www.integrate.io/docs/etl/mcp-authentication.md).

Launch it:

```bash theme={null}
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector
```

Then in the UI:

* **Transport:** Streamable HTTP
* **URL:** `https://api.xplenty.com/YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID/api/mcp`
* **Headers:** `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN`

Replace `YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID` with your account subdomain or numeric id and `YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN` with a Personal Access Token (see [Authentication](https://www.integrate.io/docs/etl/mcp-authentication.md)).

The Inspector lets you call `tools/list` and `tools/call` directly and view the JSON-RPC response. Run `tools/list` first to see the exact set of tools your account exposes. Trouble connecting? See [Troubleshooting](https://www.integrate.io/docs/etl/mcp-troubleshooting.md).
