# ETL: Reverse

> Reverse the order of characters in a string field value. Use REVERSE for string manipulation, palindrome checks, and data transforms in ETL jobs.

## Description

Reverses the order of characters in a string field.

## Syntax

`Reverse(string_expression)`

## Examples

`Reverse('abcd')` returns 'dcba'

If input is null, returns null.
