# ETL: Terminating a Cluster

> Terminate an Integrate.io ETL cluster to stop all running jobs and release compute resources. Understand the effects of cluster termination.

**To terminate a cluster:**

  <Step>
    On the main menu, click **dashboard** or **my clusters**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the cluster you want to terminate.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    At the top right corner of the left blue box, click the round **Terminate this cluster** icon.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click **terminate**.
