# ETL: URLDecode

> Decode a URL-encoded (percent-encoded) string back to its original form. Use URLDECODE for processing web data in Integrate.io ETL data pipelines.

## Description

URL-decodes a given string expression.

## Syntax

`URLDecode(string_expression)`

## Examples

`URLDecode('a%20b%20c')` returns 'a b c'

## Return value datatype

String

## Impact of null value

If input is null, returns null.
