Setting up Facebook Pages for ELT & CDC

Overview

ELT & CDC uses the Pages API provided by Facebook to sync the data. Facebook Pages API reference

Connection options

When you create a Facebook Pages source, choose one of two connection options:

Option	When to use
Business portfolio access	Grants access through your Facebook business portfolio. Requires admin consent for the business portfolio.
Page access only	Creates the source without business-portfolio admin consent. Use this option when you cannot get admin consent for a business portfolio.

With Page access only:

You need Content access on each Facebook Page you want to sync. Content access also covers the Community activity access needed to read post comments. How to grant Facebook Page access
The pages collection does not include the business field.

Requirements

You need to authenticate using OAuth2.
